Tiny Safari

Tiny Safari is a home business and all of our products are lovingly handmade to a high standard.  We purchase most of our fabrics and components at local craft stores. The rings for our slings and the buckles for our cart covers are purchased from an internet supplier.

Our Story:

I started wearing my son, Maxwell, in a sling type baby carrier as soon as he was home from the hospital. My first sling was a pouch/purse style that was difficult to adjust and murder on my back.

I went on to try other slings, but never came across one that was comfortable for me and easy to adjust, so I did research and eventually designed my own ring sling to suit my needs. 

When people started asking me to make ring slings for them I created TinySafari.com. My husband and I had previously traveled in Africa, where baby-carrying is common, and so the theme for my website and brand was an obvious choice.  The picture of the mother and baby warthog in the page header was snapped by us in South Africa.

In addition to ring slings there were other travel accessories that I wanted for Maxwell but could not find. The shopping cart/restaurant high-chair covers were a high priority for me, and I came up with a flexible design that serves both purposes with one item.

TinySafari.com enables me to be a stay-at-home mom for my baby.
